Draft — under review by a lawyer. Not final.
Our text program
CARE New York sends text messages from (929) 668-2828 to people who ask us for help. Messages include answers to your questions, call-back times, appointment reminders, renewal reminders and updates about your request.
How you sign up
You agree to get texts when you text us first, tick the text-message box on our website form, or say yes on a call with CARE.
Consent to texts is not a condition of buying any service.
How often
Message frequency varies. Most people get 1 to 10 messages a month, and more while we work on an application.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. CARE does not charge for texts.
Stop or get help
Reply STOP to stop texts at any time. You can also reply END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT or STOPALL. We send one message to confirm, then we stop.
Reply HELP for help, or call (929) 668-2828.
Our AI assistant
Texts may be answered by Sofia, our AI assistant. She says she is an assistant. A CARE helper reviews every call-back request.
Keep private numbers out of texts
Do not send your Social Security number, ID numbers, bank or card numbers, or passwords by text.
Your privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
